Selective Catalytic Reduction, or SCR, is a system that reduces exhaust emissions by converting harmful Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) in exhaust gas into harmless Nitrogen and water. It is a part of the exhaust of diesel vehicles.
The SCR system is a part of the exhaust and a malfunction in the SCR system can limit the torque of the vehicle. In such cases, it may be necessary to test externally to ensure that the NOx sensor, AdBlue pump, AdBlue injector and/or temperature sensors are in working order. The SCR System Tester is designed to test and graphically monitor the operation of these parts of the SCR system. Thanks to its socketed design, each unit can be easily tested individually or together at a desk.
The device has 1 standard OBD-II cable output. With the help of the SCR Tester adapter included in the package, you can make the OBDII socket easy to use. There are also 2 temperature sensor inputs on the adapter. After connecting the device to your computer via micro USB cable, you can connect your AdBlue pump, AdBlue injector NOx sensor and/or temperature sensors according to the pin diagram on the device label and perform operating tests.
